/b/ vs. Suleman

I predicted a while back that the days of 4chan.org’s anarchic and lusty rampage across the Internets were numbered. The final chapter may have begun. The raunchy forum has endured many stunts and inquiries in the last year, such as the Tisdale Raid, the media reports resulting in a subsequent flood of teenage twits, forum wars, DDOS attacks, and even the Sarah Palin email hack.

1234498027362But, today, /b/ may finally be going too far. Just when I thought the board was too diluted, too crowded and too lame to get truly galvanized enough to mount another raid, along comes Nadya Suleman and her eight, artificially implanted future wards of the State. The woman has become a national sensation, has bared her distended abdomen for the press, and is now drawing death threats, many of which areĀ  from the anonymous punk childen of /b/.

There have been calls in /b/ for an old-fashioned raid to protest Suleman’s obviously psychotic lack of judgement, complete with DDOS attacks on her money-raising web site and the dissemination of false rumors on Yahoo Answers and Digg to destroy any sympathy for her. But, mostly, people are just using her personal information to order her free condoms.

Precious.

Anyway, at least the budding raid has a clever name: Operation Octopussy.
