Palin’s email hacked Monday; MSM shows up Wednesday

It wasn’t the swiftest response on record, but the AP finally got around to publishing the Palin e-mail hack story yesterday, and the rest of the MSM showed up today. The AP went out of its way to poke the Secret Service, noting that it “did not comply” with requests to turn over the screenshots obtained from the hack.

Oh, stop it!

What a bunch of preening tards. The files were all over 4chan. Teenagers have been reading and giggling about them for 48 hours. It wasn’t like the AP risked life, limb and secret sources to obtain them. They just wanted everyone to know that the thickies on the SS squad aren’t hip to the Internet jive. In defense of the Secret Service, those boys were trained to take a bullet, not hunt down caffeine-addicted skiddies.

Update: Slate has a good piece of analysis, and Wired managed to snag a supposed first person account written by the /b/tard responsible.
