So, the Anchorage Daily News ran a mildly interesting article yesterday, which mentioned that First Babe Nominee Sarah Palin was fond of using her Blackberry to conduct state business through a private Yahoo! e-mail account. Naughty, naughty, shame, shame.

However, the funny part is that the /b/tards on 4chan.com immediately perked up last night at the idea of a prominent public official trying to hide her dirty political dealings in a cloud computing application. Yahoo! accounts are notoriously easy to hack, and there are claims swirling around /b/ tonight that one of these twerps managed to pull it off. The supposed proof has been posted on Rapidshare in the form of this RAR file.

I dunno. It looks pretty legit. However, this package’s authenticity is also being vigorously disputed, possibly by the people who did the hacking and aren’t anxious to be in the FBI’s crosshairs. At any rate, there aren’t any bombshells in there. There’s a whiny exchange between Palin and an Alaskan delegate candidate about attacks by his political opponent. And then there’s a little “strength, sister” note from somebody named Amy, who writes like a fundie airhead.

These boys obviously weren’t doing this for political reasons.
